Inter Milan shot-stopper Andre Onana is attracted by the possibility of joining Chelsea and Manchester United in the summer.

According to a report by Calciomercatoweb, Andre Onana would be happy to join Chelsea or Manchester United in the upcoming transfer window. The Inter Milan goalkeeper has managed to revive his career in the ongoing season. And, there are quite a few clubs interested in his services. However, the player is only attracted by the prospect of joining either United or Chelsea.

Onana came into the limelight while playing for Ajax back in the day. He was considered amongst the best goalkeepers in the world during his days with the Dutch club. However, a doping incident resulted in a suspension. And, his career got derailed.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper joined Inter Milan ahead of the ongoing season as a free agent. And, he has gone from strength to strength since joining the Italian giants. Onana has managed to revive himself at Inter.

The former Ajax star has featured in 35 matches for the Italian club and has managed to keep a clean sheet on 16 occasions. He has been amongst their best players in the ongoing season. However, his future at the club looks uncertain.

Inter’s financial situation is a bit tricky and they might have to offload a few players to balance the books. The 27-year-old arrived as a free agent and offloading him for a decent fee in the summer will be a great bit of business for the club.

Manchester United and Chelsea are two of the clubs interested in Onana’s services. And, even the player is keen on making a move to either of the Premier League clubs. The Blues are unhappy with the performances of their shot-stoppers and want to address the issues in the summer window.

Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy haven’t been consistent enough of late. And, the Blues are ready to offload one of them in order to land the Inter Milan keeper ahead of next season. Even Manchester United are in the race for the 27-year-old’s services. The Red Devils are currently negotiating a contract extension with David de Gea.

If they fail to extend the Spanish shot-stopper’s contract, they will have to enter the market for a new goalkeeper. Even if they do manage to extend his stay, their manager is keen on adding a new keeper in the summer. He wants a goalkeeper who can push De Gea for the starting spot. And, Onana seems to be a perfect fit for the club.

With Inter ready to sell and the player keen on joining either United or Chelsea, it will be interesting to see where he ends up playing his football next season.
