Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing 23-year-old striker Jonathan David.

According to reports via GFFN, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on having Jonathan David in their ranks ahead of next season. The 23-year-old has been on fire in the ongoing season, and he is expected to be on the move in the summer.

David joined LOSC Lille in the summer of 2020 from KAA Gent. He has gone from strength to strength in the last few seasons. As far as the ongoing season is concerned, he has taken his game to the next level. The 23-year-old has scored 23 goals and has four assists in all competitions.

His performances have resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe. And, a lot of clubs are all set to enter a bidding war in order to sign the Canadian international. David is currently the second-highest goal scorer in the Ligue 1 with 21 goals in 31 matches. He is just one goal behind leading goal scorer Kylian Mbappe.

While his contract at the club runs until the summer of 2025, the 23-year-old is likely to part ways with Lille in the upcoming transfer window. His signatures could cost around €65 million. Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen on having David in their ranks. The Blues might have spent a fortune on signing new players over the past few windows, they haven’t managed to get the desired results. The Blues have struggled to find the back of the net at times in the ongoing season.

They do not have a reliable forward and want to bring in a new number nine ahead of next season. Chelsea like what they have seen from David and are willing to go all out to sign him. Meanwhile, the Blues will face competition from Manchester United.

The Red Devils are yet to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. And, they are eager to bring in a new high-profile forward ahead of next season. Erik ten Hag wants to sign someone who can share the goal-scoring load with Marcus Rashford and David’s numbers suggest he could be a great addition.

Tottenham are willing to push United and Chelsea all the way for David’s signatures. Harry Kane’s future at the club is uncertain at this point in time. And, the club are already preparing for the future despite being without a manager.

They like the profile of David and believe he could occupy the striker’s position for years to come. With Spurs, United and Chelsea willing to go all out for the Ligue 1 star, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
