Liverpool representatives have held talks with the agents of the 20-year-old Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch.
According to a report by SportBild, Liverpool are keen on having Ryan Gravenberch in their ranks ahead of next season. The 20-year-old has not had much game time at Bayern Munich in the ongoing season and might look for a move away from the club in the summer.
The player has openly talked about the limited game time that he has had and the fact that he could consider a move away from the club. The Merseyside club are well aware of the situation. And, they might push for his services in the summer.
Gravenberch has said, “A year of training and playing at the highest level is nice and instructive. Although I also play, it’s mainly training. That has to change next season, then I really want to play weekly again. “I haven’t spoken to the club’s management yet, so I’ll wait and see what happens. It is clear that this role does not correspond to my ideas.”
Gravenberch came into the limelight while playing for Ajax. He had an incredible run at the Dutch club. And, his exceptional performances resulted in a move to Bayern Munich. The German giants paid around €18.5 million for the central midfielder’s services. A fee that could rise to €24.5 million depending on the bonuses.
It was a high-profile move that saw him join Bayern. But, things have not gone according to plan for the 20-year-old post the transfer. He has not had the desired game time. The Dutch international has been involved in 28 matches. But he has been on the pitch for just over 700 minutes. And, he has been involved in just two goals.
