Ryan Gravenberch has been linked with a summer move away from Bayern Munich, with Arsenal and Liverpool interested.

Ryan Gravenberch has struggled for regular game time at Bayern Munich, and there have been rumours that he could look to leave in the summer. A report from Florian Plettenberg claims that Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on signing the Dutchman. But the German outfit will not listen to offers for him at the end of the season.

Apparently, Gravenberch is highly rated at Bayern Munich, and they are hoping to hold on to the player for the long term. The Dutch midfield prospect joined the Bavarian giants last summer. But he failed to establish himself as a regular starter for the manager Julian Nagelsmann.

The 35-year-old manager has been relieved of his duties and he has been replaced by the former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel. Meanwhile, the youngster’s market value has fallen to €30 million.

Apparently, Tuchel is prepared to give the 20-year-old opportunities to prove himself, and he is highly rated at the Bundesliga club. It remains to be seen whether Gravenberch can hold down a regular starting berth at Bayern Munich next season and get his career back on track.

It is no secret that Arsenal and Liverpool have to bring in midfield reinforcements at the end of the season. And the 20-year-old Dutchman could have been a quality acquisition. Recent reports suggested the two clubs contacted his entourage over a summer move.

The Dutch midfield prospect could have partnered Thomas Partey at the base of Arsenal’s midfield. Mikel Arteta needs to add more depth and quality to that position. But it remains to be seen who they sign at the end of the season.

As for Liverpool, they will need to replace players like Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and James Milner. The three midfielders will move on as free agents in the summer, and Gravenberch would have been a quality acquisition. The two clubs were also in a position to match his €30 million market value.

Bayern Munich are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play regularly for them will be an exciting option for the midfielder. But it remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few months. As for Liverpool and Arsenal, they will have to move on to other targets as they look to reinforce their engine room in the summer.
