Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in acquiring the services of 28-year-old Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

According to a report by 90min, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Adrien Rabiot in their ranks ahead of next season. Both the Premier League clubs have been scouting the French international of late and are keen on pushing for him in the summer.

Juventus recently took on Sporting CP in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals. And, Rabiot played an important part in helping his team qualify for the semi-finals.

As per reports, representatives from both clubs were present at the Estadio Jose Alvalade to watch the second leg between Sporting and Juventus. Their major focus was Rabiot and the 28-year-old didn’t fail to impress as he found the back of the net and secured a 1-1 draw to help his team to the next round.

Rabiot has been doing wonders over the last few seasons. The initial years in Turin were difficult for the French international but he has managed to revive himself of late. The 28-year-old had an expectational FIFA World Cup 2022 with the French team.

And, the former PSG midfielder has been the mainstay for Juventus in the centre of the park. However, he is likely to part ways with the club in the summer as his contract is all set to expire.

The Old Lady have failed to extend his contract and he is all set to be a free agent in a few months’ time. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Tottenham have their eyes set on the 28-year-old.

The Merseyside club are in desperate need of reinforcements in the centre of the park after a disappointment in the ongoing season. Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of Rabiot and would love to have him at his disposal.

The German manager is looking to sign a midfielder who can contribute on both ends of the pitch. And, Rabiot seems to fit the bill perfectly. However, they will face competition from Spurs for his signatures.

While Tottenham are without a manager at this point in time, they have already started planning for the next season. The London club want to add reinforcements to the centre of the park as they look to end their trophy drought.

Spurs believe Rabiot could help them have more control in midfield and the arrival of the 28-year-old will surely bolster their squad. With Tottenham and Liverpool set to battle it out for his services, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
