Leeds United are reportedly keen on signing 21-year-old Barcelona winger Ez Abde in the summer transfer window.

According to a report from Spanish publication Sport, Leeds United are hoping to sign 21-year-old Barcelona winger Ez Abde at the end of the season. Abde is currently on loan at the Spanish club Osasuna so that he can play regular first-team football.

The Moroccan winger has impressed with his performances at Osasuna. But it remains to be seen whether Barcelona are prepared to give him opportunities next season. The 21-year-old needs to play regularly at this stage of his career. So he should look to move on if Barcelona cannot offer him game-time assurances.

Recent reports have claimed that Barcelona do not want to sell the young attacking prospect. But the opportunity to play regularly in the Premier League will be an enticing option for the young winger and a move to Leeds could be an exciting new challenge for him.

However, the Premier League side will have to ensure that they remain in the top flight in order to attract players of his ability. Leeds United are currently fighting for their survival, and it remains to be seen whether they can beat the drop. The Whites need to add more depth and quality to their attack and the Barcelona winger will add pace and flair to the side.

His performances have attracted the attention of other Premier League clubs as well and Aston Villa are reportedly keeping tabs on the young winger. The Moroccan prospect is a prodigious talent with a big future ahead of him, and he could develop into a key player for Leeds.

Barcelona are going through financial difficulties. So it will not be surprising if they decided to cash in on the youngster if a good offer is presented. Manager Xavi Hernandez has been quite vocal about the young winger’s progress at Osasuna, and he has revealed that the 21-year-old has been very good throughout his long spell and his professional performances have been highly impressive.

It is clear that the 21-year-old is rated highly at the Spanish club. But Barcelona might not be able to offer him regular opportunities ahead of players like Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele, and Raphinha. It remains to be seen how the situation develops over the next few months.
