Arsenal are one of the favourites to sign 23-year-old Bayer Leverkusen attacker Moussa Diaby amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to SportBild, Arsenal are interested in signing Moussa Diaby ahead of next season. The 23-year-old has been doing wonders of late and a lot of clubs are interested in acquiring his services. While the Gunners are leading the race to his signature, they are not alone as PSG are also desperate to bring him back to the club.

The French club have started preparing for the upcoming transfer window. Their football advisor Luis Campos has prepared a list of transfer targets to balance out their sporting project which is falling apart at this point in time. And, according to Foot Mercato, they are keen on bringing back the 23-year-old to the club.

Diaby joined the PSG youth academy back in 2013. He came through the ranks at the club and was promoted to their first team back in 2018. However, he failed to get the desired amount of game time and decided to part ways in the summer of 2019.

His impressive run in the ongoing season has attracted a lot of attention from clubs across Europe. Arsenal are currently leading the race for the Premier League title. But their manager Mikel Arteta is keen on having attacking reinforcement in the summer.

The Spanish manager believes signing a new forward can help them take the next step. The Gunners are set to return to the Champions League next season. And signing Diaby could help them challenge for the European title.
