Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United could submit bids for Dusan Vlahovic, with Juventus open to a sale in the summer.

According to Fichajes, three Premier League sides could make their first bid for Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the summer window. Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United are keen on the striker, with Juventus ready to sell the 23-year-old goal machine.

Juventus could make room in their squad and sell some key stars before the summer window. The Bianconeri do not expect a fire sale, but the club could have to do business to compensate for the Champions League revenue loss.

More so, Massimiliano Allegri would like to build the squad in a different style that would not suit some of his existing stars. One is Dusan Vlahovic, with the manager not impressed by the 23-year-old goal machine’s performances since coming here over a year ago.

Vlahovic has endured plenty of criticism from sections before the World Cup. While he took part in Qatar despite some injury issues, and since the event, he has not featured consistently owing to fitness issues. Allegri would want his main striker to remain fit for prolonged periods to give the team a chance to thrive.

Hence, Juventus could entertain the approaches of Premier League clubs for Vlahovic and look to sell him. Arsenal were reportedly lining up an offer alongside Real Madrid for the striker. Mikel Arteta is flushed with brilliant forward options, but the Serb certainly offers a different dimension.

While the report suggests they could make an offer, much will depend on whether they offload one or both of Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun in the summer. Just across London, Chelsea have the opposite of what the Gunners have, as the Blues lack a proper centre-forward.

Despite their huge outlay on attacking players in the last two windows, they did not sign a notable centre-forward. Chelsea could chase Vlahovic and solve a problematic area, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, their only notable striker, likely to depart.

Finally, there is the mention of Newcastle United in the race. The Magpies are closing in on a Champions League place and require a striker with a European pedigree. Earlier reports suggested they could even push Alexander Isak into a deal for Vlahovic, although Eddie Howe may not disperse off with the Swede just yet.

Newcastle might consider Vlahovic to become a part of their system and use his talents to push for honours next season. In any case, the Serb seems destined to depart Juventus, who will hope for a sizeable fee in return and look to make a profit over their investment in the forward.
