Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly hoping to sign Moroccan playmaker Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea at the end of the season.

Hakim Ziyech has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea, and he needs to leave the club to play regular first-team football. A report from Football Insider claims that PSG will return for the Moroccan international in the summer. The Blues want £30 million to part ways with the 30-year-old playmaker.

The French outfit were keen on signing Ziyech during the January transfer window. But the move collapsed in the end. It seems that they have not lost interest in signing the Chelsea playmaker, and they will look to bring him to the club in the coming months.

Ziyech has struggled to hold on to a regular starting spot since his move to Stamford Bridge, and he has not been able to adapt to the Premier League easily. The 30-year-old needs to move on in order to play every week. And he could prove to be a quality acquisition for PSG. But Chelsea will demand around £30 million to part ways with him.

Paris Saint-Germain could definitely use more creativity in the final third, and Ziyech would be a useful option to have. The Moroccan international is an exceptional passer, and he will help create opportunities for players like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

The 30-year-old proved his quality with Ajax before his move to Chelsea, helping the Dutch outfit reach the semi-finals of the Champions League a few years ago. There is no doubt that the Moroccan midfielder has the quality to play for a top club.

A move to PSG would be the fresh start he needs right now and the transfer would be ideal for all parties. Chelsea have brought in a number of new signings recently, and they will need to get rid of the fringe players and raise some cash through sales so that they can balance the books. And Ziyech is one of the players on the chopping block.
