Arsenal and Tottenham are keen on Montpellier forward Elye Wahi in the summer, with PSG also considering a move.

According to Jeunes Footeux, Elye Wahi continues to see a rise in interested suitors, with Arsenal and Tottenham among those keen. The €32 million-rated forward also has interest from PSG, which could lead to a decisive battle with the Premier League giants.

French media are placing Elye Wahi as a reported target for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. The report suggests the Parisians are considering the future of Hugo Ekitike, who signed last summer and replace him with the Montpellier forward.

The story suggests Ekitike has not proven his case to play together or under Kylian Mbappe. The young forward has not proven his worth, and PSG could wash their hands off the player and replace him with the €32 million forward from Montpellier.

However, Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham are on their path, keen on Wahi. The 20-year-old has had a tremendous season in Ligue 1, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists. He has the mettle to take on a bigger challenge and possibly play for a top club.

PSG would represent the chance to stay in France and play for the biggest club here, but playing time could prove problematic. Wahi will look at the development of Ekitike as an example before choosing the Parisians. Hence, a move to England can materialise.

Arsenal are flush with attacking options and have a player rising through the ranks in Ligue 1. Folarin Balogun continues with his sensational form with Stade Reims, and speculation suggests the Gunners could even ponder selling him for a sizeable sum.

Mikel Arteta has not indicated shunning Balogun out of his plans, but if they do sell, a replacement might come in. Wahi could become that player and flourish in this attacking side that has seen many youngsters making their mark.

Meanwhile, there’s the option of going to Tottenham, who may start looking at life beyond Harry Kane. Spurs are keen to rebuild their attack and bring in players who are young in a bid to let them develop. The likes of Arnaut Danjuma haven’t worked out for them, and they would see Wahi as an alternative.

As the summer window inches closer, things about Wahi’s future could get clearer. Clubs like Everton sought his signature in January, but he may only entertain offers from big clubs in the summer. For now, anything can happen with Wahi’s future especially considering the quality of clubs interested in him.
