Wolves have emerged as surprise suitors for Dani Ceballos, who is yet to decide on his future with his Real Madrid contract winding down.

According to 90min, Wolves ponder making an approach to Dani Ceballos over a summer move. The Real Madrid star’s contract ends in June with a decision pending on his future at the club. Several teams are keeping tabs, but Wolves would like to attempt to sign the midfielder.

Dani Ceballos could open a new chapter in his career and join a club where he plays regularly. Game time has been the subject of concern for the 26-year-old Real Madrid ace, although he has featured plenty under Carlo Ancelotti of late.

Yet, he might look at Real Madrid’s growing links with Jude Bellingham and think whether he has a future here. The Spanish giants are keen to keep hold of the 26-year-old ace, but he is yet to decide on his future. A host of clubs are keen on the midfielder, with Ceballos even rejecting a Premier League side in January.

He has also reportedly said no to Atletico Madrid, who wanted to sign him on a free transfer. Real Betis also retain an interest, with reports suggesting the 26-year-old Real Madrid ace would open the doors over a return to his former side.

There are also Italian clubs keen, but the growing interest from the Premier League could turn his heads. Financially, he could get a top deal from an English club compared to options in Spain or Italy. Staying at Real Madrid also remains an option, and now Wolves are reportedly interested.

It may seem audacious, but Julen Lopetegui would like the club to attempt to sign the 26-year-old Real Madrid ace. Ceballos adds a different dimension to their midfield. They could Ruben Neves and Matheus Nunes depart in the summer.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Nunes and Neves, as per many reports, as Wolves view Ceballos as a replacement for one of those stars. The prospect of a return to the Premier League may sound tempting, but Ceballos could wait for offers from a team in the Champions League.

As for Wolves, they continue to fight for retaining their top-tier status, and may not appeal to Ceballos. Yet, the option could entice him considering how much he could grow there. Financially, the Premier League may sound tempting, but the 26-year-old is yet to make any concrete decision.
