Manchester United are reportedly keen on bringing French midfield duo Enzo Le Fee and Manu Kone in the summer.

Manchester United are in the market for several players, including midfielders. Journalist Jonathan Johnson via Caught Offside reckons they are keen on bringing French midfield duo Enzo Le Fee and Manu Kone to shore up their options in the next window.

Manu Kone has been a solid presence at Borussia Monchengladbach, who may have to accept their fate and sell the midfielder. They will do so with reluctance, as the Frenchman has proved his worth early on for the Bundesliga side.

While there is plenty of interest in the market for Kone, he will have the luxury of choosing from the best. PSG are one of the sides keen, along with Chelsea and Manchester United, who are angling for a move for the Frenchman.

There is the temptation of signing for PSG, considering Kone was born in Paris. The club are also looking to revamp their midfield in the next window. While they would love to have Kone, he might show an inclination towards coming to the Premier League.

Journalist Jonathan Johnson, while speaking about Kone, also mentioned another midfielder. He spoke about the interest in the Monchengladbach midfielder; he also mentioned Manchester United’s interest in Enzo Le Fee.

Johnson said, “Manu Kone is a fine young player who’s making the headlines a bit more recently, with links to the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, I think PSG would be the only ones who could bring him back to Ligue 1, but there are plenty of other big teams looking for midfielders.”

“Manchester United seem to be one of those, having been linked with both Kone and Enzo Le Fee, who plays for Lorient and is another impressive talent who I expect to be of interest to a number of big clubs right now.”

While it is clear Kone will move out of Monchengladbach, there is the chance of Enzo Le Fee also departing Lorient. There are several clubs linked with the French midfielder, mostly from the Premier League.

Enzo Le Fee primarily plays as an attacking midfielder. Erik ten Hag might view him as a solid competition for Christian Eriksen in the squad. He has shown his worth with Lorient and could excel with Manchester United if they sign him. Manchester United might intensify their efforts to sign the French duo in the summer. They will come expensive, but they will certainly improve Ten Hag’s squad heading into the next campaign.
