Marcus Rashford reportedly turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain worth €455,000 per week to stay at Manchester United.

According to Fichajes, Marcus Rashford has already rejected a reported offer worth €455,000 per week from Paris Saint-Germain. The Manchester United forward stayed at Old Trafford, but his future remains the subject of speculation as a new deal is yet to be signed.

Marcus Rashford continues to have a tremendous season for Manchester United, his best since he broke through the first team. The England forward returned from the World Cup a different player and put everyone in the Premier League behind the basis of his form.

He scored incredibly after the World Cup and has 14 strikes to his name this season. While he remains far from Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, Rashford has had a fantastic season with Manchester United. His future, however, remains the subject of speculation as the new contract at the club is yet to be signed.

Manchester United have stepped up their efforts to extend Rashford’s contract. He will enter the final year of his deal in the summer, although the club may have the option to extend it for another season. However, they have to immediately wrap up a new agreement or risk opening the doors for rivals to swoop in.

One of them are Paris Saint-Germain, who have wanted to sign Rashford since last summer. They are alert to his situation and could make another attempt at bringing the England international. They could have plenty of space in their attacking setup to play the Manchester United star alongside Kylian Mbappe.

The futures of Lionel Messi and Neymar remain in significant doubt beyond the summer. Rashford would suit their system well with his direct style and goalscoring attributes. Meanwhile, the report suggests the Manchester United star already rejected a mammoth contract offer from PSG last summer.

They insist PSG offered a €455,000-a-week deal to Rashford, which he rejected to stay put at Manchester United. PSG will return with another attempt if the attacker has not signed a new deal by the summer, which may put the Red Devils in a sticky spot.

For now, Manchester United will push to get a renewal in place and ensure Rashford leads their attack for years to come. Whether the forward will bring the rejected PSG offer while negotiating with his club remains the question, which could push Manchester United to offer him a highly lucrative contract.
