Manchester City have offered €12 million to sign 16-year-old Croatian sensation Luka Vuskovic ahead of next season.

According to The Athletic, Manchester City have tabled a €12 million offer to sign Luka Vuskovic. The 16-year-old Croatian wonderkid has been on the radar of the Manchester-based club for a while now. And they have finally made a move for him.

Vuskovic has been a part of Croatian club Hajduk Split since the start of his professional career. He started off with their youth team and is currently featuring for their Under-19 side. The 16-year-old has gone from strength to strength in the past few seasons. And, he has also featured for their first team of late.

The Croatia Under-17 star has had a great season so far. The teenage centre-back has featured in five matches for the senior team and also has a goal to his name. Overall, he has made 22 appearances and has nine goals to his name.

His performances have not gone unnoticed. A lot of clubs are interested in his services. But, as per the reports, Manchester City have already made the first move by offering €12 million to Hajduk in order to acquire the 16-year-old’s services.

Vuskovic penned down a new deal with his current club at the start of this month. His new contract runs until the winter of 2026. However, they are unlikely to stand in his way, given the fact that big European clubs have their eyes on him and have the financial backing to price him away. Meanwhile, his new contract surely places the Croatian club on the top in negotiation with clubs interested in the 16-year-old.

Manchester City have had their eyes on the Croatian wonderkid for some time. And, they are well aware of the fact that there are a lot of clubs that are interested in the teenage sensation. As a result, they are pushing for his signature.

City are looking to add the young defender to their ranks as soon as possible. However, it won’t be an easy task because Vuskovic is looking for first-team action, and Pep Guardiola’s team is already well-stacked in the centre-back position.

While they have submitted an official bid of €12 million, there are no updates from the Croatian club’s end. The bid has neither been accepted nor rejected. As a result, it will be interesting to see where Vuskovic ends up playing his football next season.
