Real Madrid are reportedly looking to improve their attack with the signing of Mohammed Kudus.

According to a report from Defensa Central, the Spanish club are watching the Ajax attacker closely and he is a target for Premier League giants Manchester United as well.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian international has proven his quality in the Dutch league and he was outstanding for his country in the recently concluded World Cup as well.

He is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three and he could prove to be a useful addition to the Real Madrid attack.

Los Blancos need to add more depth to their attack and signing a versatile player like Kudus could prove to be a wise decision.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will have to compete with Manchester United as well and the Red Devils are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements.

After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, they have been overly reliant on Marcus Rashford and the England international clearly needs more help from his teammates.

The arrival of Kudus could prove to be a quality acquisition for the Red Devils and it remains to be seen whether they can fend off competition from the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world and any player is likely to be tempted to join them. Furthermore, they are capable of winning major trophies right away. On the other hand, Manchester United are a club on the rise under their new manager and they might not be ready to challenge for the Champions League and the league title just yet.

It remains to be seen where Kudus ends up at the end of the season.

The highly talented attacker has all the attributes to develop into a top-class player but he needs to join a club where he will get ample game time.

If Real Madrid cannot give them game-time assurances, a move to Old Trafford might be more beneficial for his development.

The 22-year-old has 18 goals and 5 assists across all competitions this season and he has a contract with Ajax until the summer of 2025.

It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid or Manchester United can sign him for a reasonable price at the end of the season.
