Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been linked with a move away from Napoli, with Chelsea, Barcelona, and Real Madrid interested.

According to a report from 90min, Premier League giants Chelsea are keen on signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the end of the season. But they will face competition from Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old is undoubtedly one of the most exciting attackers on the planet right now. And his performances in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League have caught the attention of a number of clubs.

Kvaratskhelia has the potential to develop into a world-class player. And it is no surprise that the top European clubs are vying for his services. The talented young winger has 27 goal contributions (12 goals and 15 assists) to his name across all competitions and has been an indispensable asset for Napoli this season.

The Partenopei are the favourites to win the league title this season, and the Georgian winger has been a key performer for them. Apparently, Napoli are unwilling to sell the player anytime soon. And Kvaratskhelia is not angling for a move away either.

That makes any potential move complicated at the end of the season. And it remains to be seen whether clubs like Chelsea, Real Madrid or Barcelona can turn the in-form attacker’s head with a lucrative offer.

That said, Barcelona are going through financial difficulties. And it is fair to assume that they will struggle to afford Napoli’s asking price. Real Madrid already have Vinicius Junior playing in his natural role.

The Blues certainly have the financial resources to sign him. Chelsea have been spending unsustainably over the last two windows. And Todd Boehly wants to put together a squad capable of challenging for major trophies.

Kvaratskhelia would add a new dimension to their attack. But Chelsea have already signed Mykhaylo Mudryk during the January transfer window, and the Ukrainian international plays a similar role to that of the Napoli star.

It would be quite surprising if the Blues decided to spend big money on the 22-year-old winger, especially after signing a similar player in January for £88 million. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.
