Arsenal are reportedly open to selling 22-year-old attacker Emile Smith Rowe, whose market value is €38 million, at the end of the season.

A report from Calciomercato claims that Emile Smith Rowe is considered as an expendable asset at the north London club. And the Gunners could look to cash in on the 22-year-old attacking midfielder in the summer.

Smith Rowe has had persistent injury problems this season and has had just 57 minutes of first-team action for Arsenal. The talented young attacking midfielder has failed to get on the scoresheet so far this season. And it is no wonder that Arsenal have put him on the list of expendables.

That said, the 22-year-old is an immense talent who showed his quality in the Premier League last season. Smith Rowe managed to score 11 goals across all competitions, and he was being tipped to develop into a future star. But amid a frustrating season, his market value has dropped slightly to €38 million.

Smith Rowe remains an exceptional talent with a big future ahead of him. If he can get over his injury problems, he could develop into a top-class Premier League midfielder. The Gunners are likely to be able to recoup a substantial amount of money from his sale. But they will be left with regrets if the talented young midfielder manages to fulfil his potential in the future.

Clubs like Tottenham and Newcastle United could certainly use a quality attacking midfielder like him. And the two Premier League bigwigs could offer him the platform to showcase his abilities at a high level as well, although a move to Tottenham is highly unlikely.

It remains to be seen whether the midfielder is willing to leave his boyhood club in search of regular game time at the end of the season. Smith Rowe is not the only player Arsenal are looking to get rid of this summer. And they have prepared a list of six players, including Kieran Tierney, who could be sold in order to raise funds for new signings.

Arsenal are reportedly looking to bring in West Ham United captain Declan Rice and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo. They tried to sign the Brighton ace during the January window as well. But the Seagulls held firm and managed to hold on to the talented young midfielder.
