Real Madrid are a serious contender in the chase for Dusan Vlahovic alongside a trio of Premier League giants.

According to Eldesmarque, Real Madrid are a strong contender in the race for Dusan Vlahovic. The Spanish giants will fight a trio of Premier League sides to pursue the 23-year-old Juventus striker, with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal all keen.

Big clubs will enter the summer transfer window looking for specific talents. With the pool of top-rated players considerably shrinking, many sides could battle it out for the same stars. As things stand, all top teams may chase strikers and central midfielders.

Several teams either lack a top-rated striker in their squad or are looking around to replace their current No.9. In the case of Real Madrid, they want to start managing the position in the coming summer as they search for a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.

While the Frenchman shows no signs of slowing down, the team usually falters in his absence. Benzema has struggled with injuries all season, which has been reflected in Real Madrid’s results on the pitch. Hence, Florentino Perez is keen to bring in a young forward who would suit their long-term agenda.

Dusan Vlahovic is among those mentioned as possible targets. Real Madrid could approach in the summer and take advantage of the situation engulfing Juventus. The 23-year-old could choose to leave if the Turin giants fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Vlahovic remains on Real Madrid’s radar, but they have plenty of competition to fight off. Premier League sides are their main threat in pursuit of the 23-year-old, with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal all looking at the Serbian. Juventus might open the doors to a sale if they receive the right offers.

Chelsea definitely hold an interest, as Todd Boehly is eager to solve the centre-forward problem. They don’t have a striker matching the club hierarchy’s ambitions, and Vlahovic makes sense alongside other names, including Victor Osimhen.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have had a similar need for a striker since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo midway through the season. Wout Weghorst continues to do a job but is not the long-term answer to the role. Erik ten Hag would spend a considerable fee on a new striker, with Vlahovic on their radar.

Meanwhile, the media constantly mentions Arsenal as a viable option. Mikel Arteta does not necessarily need a new centre-forward but could remain open to adding one if the opportunity arises with a player like Vlahovic.

In hindsight, it’s rare for any player to turn down the overtures of Real Madrid. However, the riches of Premier League football are steadily becoming a problem for Spanish sides, something Madrid might experience in their pursuit of Vlahovic.
