Juventus could sell Dusan Vlahovic to improve their finances, as there could be tremendous interest from top clubs in the summer window.

According to Fichajes, Juventus are reportedly prepared to sell Dusan Vlahovic for a reasonable value. Many top clubs could circle for the 23-year-old attacker, who fits the profile of many managers, with Arsenal and Real Madrid keen.

The ongoing troubles at Juventus could open up new problems for the club in the upcoming summer window. The FIGC ruling over financial misappropriations saw the league dock them 15 points. As a result, they currently languish in the eighth spot on the table, some 12 points off a top-four place.

They had been struggling financially since the pandemic. Their inability to qualify for next season’s Champions League could mount pressure. While they still have a chance to make it into the top four, the prospect of it happening is slim.

As a result, many players would feel the need to continue playing in the Champions League and could depart the club. One of those could be Dusan Vlahovic, who has gone through some difficult periods since joining the club in January 2022.

Juventus may evaluate his future in the summer and prepared to sell him if a reasonable offer arrives. Some reports insisted they want at least €90 million to offload the 23-year-old attacker, which Premier League clubs might pay.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move again in January, failing to sign the 23-year-old attacker in 2022. He chose Juventus over the Gunners despite Mikel Arteta making his admiration of the Serbian clear.

Last month, the media linked many strikers to Arsenal as a cover for the injured Gabriel Jesus. Arteta decided against signing a new forward and placed his faith in Eddie Nketiah, who has done extremely well in the deputy role.

For now, Arteta may not prioritise signing a new striker. However, if the manager feels the need for a forward with a different profile up front, he might again run his attention toward Vlahovic.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid could also target the 23-year-old attacker in the summer. Florentino Perez is searching for a new striker and prioritises a long-term Karim Benzema replacement. Lyon’s Rayan Cherki could be their primary target; Vlahovic could also feature on their list as an alternative.

Either way, Vlahovic will have plenty of interest outside of Arsenal and Real Madrid. Chelsea and Manchester United remain linked with the 23-year-old attacker as those sides look for a new No.9 to strengthen their attack next season.

  1. Arsenal does not the services of Vlahovic any more since there are more prospective players in the team who could play multiple role and moreso his position.
