Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian international Neymar at the end of the season.

A report from Le Parisien claims that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi on Tuesday in Paris to discuss a potential transfer for Neymar next summer.

The Brazilian International will be out of contract in the summer of 2025 and it remains to be seen whether PSG are prepared to cash in on him at the end of the season.

Neymar is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world and he would be an exceptional signing for Chelsea. The 31-year-old has 17 goals and 16 assists across all competitions this season and he could transform Chelsea in the final third.

The Blues have struggled to find the back of the net consistently and although Neymar is not an out-and-out striker, he will certainly add more goals to the side. Apart from that, the 31-year-old is an elite creator who will help create more opportunities for his teammates.

The Blues have been extremely active in the transfer market over the last few months and Todd Boehly has already bankrolled a number of quality signings to improve the squad.

If Chelsea can bring in a quality attacker at the end of the season, there is no reason why they cannot challenge for the Premier League title next season.

It will be interesting to see if Neymar is prepared to try out a new challenge at this stage of his career.

The Brazilian international has nothing to prove in the French league anymore and the opportunity to showcase his qualities in the Premier League could be an exciting option for him.

Furthermore, Chelsea defender Thiago Silva who enjoys a close relationship with his compatriot might be able to help the Blues convince the 31-year-old to join them.

Neymar was linked with a move away from PSG at the start of the season but a transfer did not materialise. Chelsea could provide him with an exit route in the summer. The Blues certainly have the financial muscle to pull off the move and Neymar could be swayed by their ambition in the transfer market.
