According to a report by Calciomercato, Marco Asensio is the subject of interest from AC Milan. The Rossoneri will look to sign the Real Madrid attacker in a Bosman move in the summer transfer window. And the Serie A giants are in touch with his agent Jorge Mendes.
Marco Asensio has reached a critical point in his professional career at the club level. The Spaniard has been making his mark for Real Madrid in the last 18 months. But he has not succeeded in nailing down his spot as a first-choice attacker for Real Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti.
The 27-year-old has not even managed 1,000 minutes of game time but has four goals and five assists in that period. Meanwhile, the experienced attacker is in the final six months of his contract. And Asensio’s situation has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs, including AC Milan.
The Serie A giants were keen on signing Asensio from Real Madrid last summer. But a move never materialised, and the Spanish international remained at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, the interest from the Rossoneri has not waned one bit, especially in the wake of a difficult 2022/23 season.
