The Eintracht Frankfurt defender has featured in 29 matches in the ongoing season. He has been involved in each of their 20 Bundesliga matches so far. Ndicka has been an important player for the German club for a few years now. The 23-year-old played a vital role in their Europa League triumph last season. With his contract set to expire in five months, he is looking at possible options. And the Barcelona offer is a tempting one for him.

Barcelona under Xavi have improved significantly are are currently leading the title race in La Liga. They have an 11-point cushion over second-placed Real Madrid. Barcelona are now looking to add more quality to their squad to push for the UEFA Champions League next season. They have identified Ndicka as a great option, with the player’s contract expiring.

The French centre-back will add more depth to the defensive side of things and will make Xavi’s life much easier. But, his arrival might send Eric Garcia further down in the pecking order. And the Spanish international might look for a way out. So, it will be interesting to see how things pan out and if a Bosman move sees the light of day.
