Barcelona winger Ansu Fati has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

Recently there were reports that Bayern Munich are keen on signing the player but the likes of Florian Plettenberg have now rubbished those rumours. Josep Capdevila has now revealed that Barcelona are determined to part ways with the 20-year-old Spanish international and therefore there have been leaks of potential interest from Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Fati was widely regarded as one of the most talented young players to have come through the Barcelona Academy but he has not been able to establish himself as a key player for the Spanish club due to persistent injury problems.

He has started just seven league games for Barcelona this season and has six goals and three assists to his name across all competitions.

It remains to be seen whether Fati can impress regularly during the second half of the campaign and convince Barcelona to keep him at the club. There is no doubt that the Spaniard is a prodigious young talent with a bright future ahead of him. Whoever ends up signing him could have a potential star on their hands.

The Spanish outfit already have Raphinha and Ousmane Dembele as their wide options and Fati has found it difficult to play regularly this season. He needs to start more often in order to continue his development and fulfil his potential.

A move away from Barcelona could be ideal for the talented youngster at the end of the season and it remains to be seen where he ends up.

The likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich could certainly use more depth in their attack but it seems that the two clubs do not have a legitimate interest in the player.

Fati needs to join a club where he can play regularly and has the trust of the manager. The 20-year-old is still quite young and he has plenty of time to regain his form and sharpness. There is no reason why he cannot fulfil his world-class potential in the coming seasons.
