Liverpool ready to intensify Jude Bellingham chase

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Real Madrid.

I don’t think we can rule out Manchester City more seriously entering the race over the coming weeks. They’re later to the process than Liverpool or Real Madrid, but those are the three main contenders. If Liverpool have their way, we know that Bellingham is a top target, so I do expect them to throw everything at it.”

There have been rumours that the player’s camp want him to move to Liverpool at the end of the season. But it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can secure Champions League football first. The Reds are currently in real danger of missing out on a top-four finish, and they will struggle to attract players like Bellingham without the lure of Champions League football.
