According to a report from Fichajes, Liverpool and Chelsea are keen on signing 22-year-old Athletic Club midfielder Oihan Sancet at the end of the season.
Oihan Sancet has been a key player for Athletic Club this season, and he has seven goals in 20 league matches. The versatile midfielder can operate as a controller as well as an advanced playmaker. His versatility will be an added bonus for Liverpool and Chelsea if they manage to secure his services.
Liverpool desperately need midfield reinforcements, especially with players like Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain likely to leave at the end of the season. In addition, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have regressed massively as well. So Liverpool will need to delve into the market for a midfielder, with Chelsea veteran N’Golo Kante emerging on their radar.
