Villarreal attacker Arnaut Danjuma has reportedly been offered to clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Relevo, Arnaut Danjuma has been offered to Premier League clubs Liverpool and Tottenham. The Dutch attacker faces an uncertain future at La Liga club Villarreal.
The 25-year-old has scored six goals across all competitions this season. But he has had a fallout with his teammates, and the La Liga club are prepared to let him leave this month to preserve their dressing room harmony.
It remains to be seen with Tottenham or Liverpool are prepared to sign the player before the January transfer window closes. Interestingly, Spurs have already shown interest in signing Danjuma this month.
Tottenham could certainly use more depth in their attack, and they have been linked with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Leandro Trossard. Danjuma is reportedly in England in order to negotiate a potential transfer.
Players like Son Heung-min have not been at their best this season. And Antonio Conte could certainly use more depth in his attack. The 25-year-old Dutchman can play as a winger as well as a centre forward. And his versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are without a number of attacking players because of injury problems, and they could use the Dutchman during the second half of the campaign. However, the Reds have recently signed Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven and might decide to strengthen the other areas of their squad.
The 25-year-old has been linked with Premier League clubs Everton and West Ham United as well. It will be interesting to see where Danjuma ends up eventually. The player is thought to be keen on returning to England and will hope to join a club playing in Europe.
The Dutch attacker scored 16 goals across all competitions last season and could be a useful squad player for most teams in the Premier League. Tottenham and Liverpool are currently fighting for a place in the top four.
It remains to be seen whether they are prepared to bring in additional reinforcements this month to enhance their chances of securing Champions League qualification. On the other hand, West Ham are battling to secure their place in the Premier League next year. And someone like Danjuma could help them beat the drop.
