Malinovskyi has the quality to play for a top club like Tottenham, and he has the experience to make an immediate impact in the Premier League during the second half of the campaign. Tottenham started the season well under Antonio Conte but their form has dipped considerably, and they are now fighting for a place in the top four.

The north London club cannot afford to miss out on UEFA Champions League qualification and must look to improve their squad in January in order to finish in the top four. Manchester United have now overtaken, so Tottenham will have to address their problems to clinch a top-four finish.

Malinovskyi can play as a creative central midfielder as well as the number ten, and he is capable of operating as a false nine as well. So the 29-year-old’s versatility will be an added bonus for Antonio Conte.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of creative midfielders over the last few months, and the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo and Christian Eriksen were on their radar at the start of the season. It Is an area of the squad that could certainly use reinforcements and adding a creative player in the middle of the park could transform Tottenham on the pitch.
