Bernardo Silva has reiterated his stance on the future, as the Portuguese international remains open to joining another project.
According to Fichajes, Bernardo Silva is open to leaving Manchester City if another suitable project arrives. The attacking midfielder was open to leaving the Cityzens last summer when Barcelona were poking around for his signature, but things could prove different after the current season.
Bernardo Silva has been one of Pep Guardiola’s top signings since coming to Manchester City. The former Monaco star was in the market after a Ligue 1 winning season, and the Premier League champions snapped him after paying a reasonable fee to the French side.
Silva barely took time to adapt at Manchester City and steadily became one of Guardiola’s important players. He was instrumental in multiple Premier League title wins and continues to feature in most games this season from the start. The Portuguese international often plays in different positions but always proves effective.
Last summer, speculation around the midfielder’s future was rife as Barcelona were keen on signing him. While a move never materialised owing to financial demands from Man City, Silva is still open to joining the Catalans if an opportunity arrives.
