Real Madrid to go all out to sign Jude Bellingham

Real Madrid will reportedly go all out in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Liverpool.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Jude Bellingham has become a top target for Real Madrid. And Los Blancos will go all out to sign the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who also features on Liverpool’s radar, after learning Benfica’s price tag for Enzo Fernandez.

Jude Bellingham is one of the best midfielders in the world despite only being 19 years old. The teenage sensation rose to prominence as a 16-year-old at Birmingham City FC. And since then, he has gone from strength to strength, establishing himself as a pivotal figure for Borussia Dortmund.

The English international has also become a top performer for the Three Lions and was superb at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, Bellingham has been top-notch at the club level this term, amassing nine goals and three assists in 22 appearances thus far. And the youngster will likely join a bigger team next year amid interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Real Madrid will look to bring in long-term successors to Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the coming years. And Bellingham is the leading candidate to fill the impending void of the former. The English international has added layers to his game and can grow considerably at a club like Real Madrid.

Recent reports have claimed that the reigning La Liga champions are the front-runners to sign the 19-year-old. And Real Madrid will go all out to secure the services of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder. But they might face stiff competition from Liverpool for Bellingham next year.

While reports have suggested that Liverpool might be moving on from Bellingham, he might still be a top target. The Reds need to galvanise their midfield unit, with Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reaching the end of their contracts. In addition, Jordan Henderson and James Milner are in their thirties. So Bellingham is an option worth considering for Liverpool.

But with Real Madrid ready to go all out to sign the English international after learning Benfica’s price for Enzo Fernandez, Los Blancos might have the advantage. It will be interesting to see where Bellingham plies his trade next season.
