Manchester City believe they will be able to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Liverpool.

According to a report from The Sun, Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester City are keen on signing Jude Bellingham. But the Premier League champions are confident of securing the signature of the 19-year-old English international, valued at over £100 million by Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester City believe that the prospect of working with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad could convince Bellingham to move to Manchester City, instead of Liverpool or Real Madrid. On the other hand, the Spanish giants believe that they are currently leading the chase to sign the 19-year-old midfielder.

Bellingham is widely regarded as a world-class prospect, and he has the attributes to develop into a superstar. Real Madrid are probably looking for a long-term replacement for club legend Luka Modric, and Bellingham could be a superb acquisition.

On the other hand, Liverpool are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements. And Jurgen Klopp will need to bring in top-class players in order to challenge the likes of Manchester City once again.

Bellingham is already playing at a high level for club and country, and he could be an exceptional acquisition for all three clubs. The 19-year-old will look to join an ambitious club, capable of winning trophies, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Manchester City certainly have the finances to sign the player, and they will have to fork out a sum of around £100 million for the midfielder. Ilkay Gundogan is on the wrong side of 30, and the German midfielder is approaching the final phase of his career. Bellingham could be an ideal replacement for German at Manchester City.

It will be interesting to see if Bellingham’s former club teammate Erling Haaland can play a role in bringing the midfielder to the Etihad during the summer transfer window. The opportunity to link up with the Norwegian striker at the Etihad could be an enticing option for the England midfielder.
