Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping a tab on Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho who is yet to commit his future with the club.
According to a report in Fichajes, both Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring the situation of Alejandro Garnacho as the youngster will be out of contract next summer.
Garnacho has already broken into the senior setup as Erik ten Hag is very keen to develop the teenager into one of his assets. Some rare flashes of brilliance could be of utter significance as he could turn out to be the perfect heir of Cristiano Ronaldo.
United are said to be in the hunt for Ronaldo’s replacement but they could already have a tailor-made successor ready in Garnacho. His electric pace and smooth dribbling quality are going to torment the opponent’s defenders for a long time.
Garnacho’s latest goal came in United’s last Premier League match against Fulham before the World Cup break as the Argentine defied his marker with his electrifying speed and finished the move with an impeccable finish.
However, United are yet to reach a solution regarding his contractual situation but it is suggested the club is very happy with how things have shaped so far and they will offer him fresh new terms.
He will get a whopping pay rise in the new deal and thus the club could protect his value. Arsenal lost Gabriel Jesus for at least a couple of months as Mikel Arteta doesn’t have many wide options at his disposal.
Both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have been quite productive this season and they could use some competition within the squad. Chelsea are set to lose a few players as the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic could leave in the summer and Graham Potter could be interested in providing a huge stage to Garnacho to showcase his skills.
But the player is quite happy and is enjoying his space and would not leave the club unless he is forced to alter his decision. Both the London giants are aware of Garnacho’s intention and will try to convince him to make a move.
