Manchester United might have a chance to land Brighton & Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard, who has also been offered to Chelsea and Liverpool.
As per Give Me Sport, Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Leandro Trossard could leave the club in January. And his possible destinations could be across Premier League to Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester United.
The in-form winger has made a major impact this season, enjoying his most productive campaign thus far. The departure of Graham Potter did not have any significant impression on his character as the 27-year-old has also emerged in a pivotal role in Roberto De Zerbi’s plans.
Both the managers have used Trossard in different positions, and he has excelled in each role making him an even more exciting prospect for other teams. His current contract will expire next summer, and talks of a new contract have not concluded yet.
Brighton have slapped a price tag of £30 million, and they might be keen to sign him off as offloading him in January might be the best option than letting him leave for free in the summer.
Manchester United have been in the market for an offensive reinforcement, and Trossard might be a good fix. Erik ten Hag is eager to add at least one attacking-minded player, and Trossard might fit the bill. The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo has left a lot of money in the coffers, and the Red Devils will be using some of it. But Cody Gakpo seems likely to join Manchester United.
Chelsea will also witness some movements as Potter will be given more freedom to have his say in the transfer market. After reuniting with Mark Cucurella at Stamford Bridge, he might be interested in snatching another talent from his previous employer to bring Chelsea back to the top.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has not been able to stabilise his team’s performances this season. And having Trossard under him might change the scenario. The in-form Belgian international would be ideal in his pressing system and can challenge the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz in the squad.
Trossard has already emerged on the radar of Chelsea. So the Blues might be in a healthy position to win the race to sign the Belgian attacker from Brighton. But Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United might have a say in the matters.
