Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Everton attacker Anthony Gordon, a target for Chelsea, at the end of the season.

According to a report from football.london, Tottenham are keeping tabs on Anthony Gordon, and they could like to make a move for him at the end of the season. The 21-year-old Everton winger is also a target for Chelsea.

Gordon was linked with a move away from Everton during the summer transfer window, and Chelsea were keen on securing his services. The 21-year-old was reportedly rated at around £60 million, but the Blues did not manage to agree on a deal with Everton for the young winger.

It appears that Tottenham were keeping tabs on the player back then as well, and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to follow up on their interest with a concrete offer for Gordon in the coming months.

The 21-year-old winger has been a key player for Everton since last season, and he was instrumental to their survival in the Premier League.

Frank Lampard will not want to lose a young talent like Gordon in the near future. And it remains to be seen whether the Toffees can convince him to stay at Goodison Park and commit his long-term future to the club.

The opportunity to join clubs like Tottenham and Chelsea could be a tempting proposition for the youngster, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Gordon is naturally a right-sided winger but he is versatile enough to operate on both flanks, and he would add some much-needed depth to Antonio Conte’s attack.

The north London club signed Richarlison from Everton during the summer transfer window. Andit remains to be seen whether they can prise another attacker away from Goodison Park at the end of the season. Antonio Conte will want to win the major trophies with Tottenham, and he will need to strengthen his squad significantly for that to happen.

There is still a gulf in class between clubs like Tottenham and Manchester City, and Conte can only overcome that by bringing in quality players. Gordon has already established himself as an exciting Premier League attacker and he has the potential to develop into a top-class player with coaching and experience.

Working with a manager like Antonio Conte will only accelerate his development and help him fulfil his potential. Tottenham are likely to face competition from Chelsea for the player in summer and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

The Blues have struggled in the final third this season, especially with Raheem Sterling blowing hot and cold. It will be interesting to see if Gordon again becomes a top target for Chelsea, who will look to beat Conte to Gordon’s signature.
