Kyle Walker-Peters features on Chelsea’s radar as the Stamford Bridge outfit remains in the market for a new right-back.
According to Fabrizio Romano via Caughtoffside, Kyle Walker-Peters could be a target for Chelsea. The Premier League giants are in the market for a new right-back as the Southampton star features on a list of high-profile players for the position.
Chelsea are on a bad run of form at the moment. Three consecutive defeats in the Premier League have resulted in a drop on the table, as injuries continue to harm their chances this term. Full-backs Reece James and Ben Chilwell are key components of this team, and their absence was felt in recent weeks.
The World Cup break is the right time for Chelsea, as they could ponder making key decisions in January. The main focus is on the transfer market in January, as the club eyes key targets to strengthen the squad.
Chief among those is a new right back, with Chelsea considering several options for the position. Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries is a January target. It will take a huge effort to bring the Dutchman on board, as the Blues could look at targets within the Premier League.
