According to a report by Fichajes, Newcastle United are chasing the signing of Victor Osimhen and will push for a move in the summer. Manchester United are also eyeing his service and will be engaged in a stiff transfer battle.
Newcastle United have maintained their brilliant start to the season and have lifted themselves up to the third position following their brilliant win over Chelsea on Saturday.
Eddie Howe has already accumulated a squad capable of getting themselves to that pinnacle. But the Newcastle United manager feels he still needs some quality reinforcements to bridge the gap with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal.
The Magpies brought in Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad to lead their line. But the 23-year-old has not hit the prime yet and is currently on the sidelines with an injury.
