La Liga giants Real Betis are reportedly considering a Bosman move for 21-year-old Barcelona prospect Arnau Tenas next summer.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Arnau Tenas is the subject of interest from Real Betis over a possible Bosman move in the 2023 summer transfer window. The Andalusian giants will approach the Barcelona prospect if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Arnau Tenas spent his formative years at two clubs, starting at Vic Riuprimer before joining Barcelona. The 21-year-old progressed considerably at the Catalan club’s famed La Masia academy between 2010 and 2019. And after nearly a decade in the youth division, he turned professional in October 2019.

The Spanish goalkeeper has made 33 appearances for Barcelona Atletic, who he captains, keeping ten clean sheets. But Tenas is yet to make his first-team debut for Barcelona, making only a handful of appearances on the bench. And with Marc-Andre ter Stegen rediscovering his best form, the young prospect might never get his chance for Barcelona.

The Catalan giants are also in a spot of bother over Tenas’s long-term future as he has entered the final year of his contract. And the youngster might get his opportunity in La Liga, with Real Betis keen on signing him once his Barcelona contract runs out.

The Andalusian giants have already started to lay down the plans for the 2023 summer transfer window. And they have nearly half a dozen players on their wishlist if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League. One player to emerge on Real Betis’s radar is rightly Arnau Tenas, considering Claudio Bravo’s future is up in the air.

Los Verdiblancos are currently fifth in La Liga. And with Sevilla struggling in the first two months, Real Betis will have a rare opportunity to one-up Los Nervionenses this season. And qualifying for the UEFA Champions League might open up many opportunities for Real Betis. Another Barcelona player, Hector Bellerin, features on their radar.

Others like Dani Ceballos, Houssem Aouar, and Alejandro Grimaldo have also emerged as targets for Real Betis. But Tenas seems the likeliest to join the Andalusian outfit in the summer transfer window if his Barcelona contract expires.
