Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Brazilian wonderkid Endrick after sending scouts to watch his development.

According to Sport Witness via Caio Carrieri, Manchester United are keen on signing 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Endrick. The Premier League giants have been ‘observing’ the youngster at Palmeiras as they ponder a future move for the attacker.

Endrick’s name has become familiar in the European media for some time now. The 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid has aroused big clubs’ interest with brilliant youth-level performances. After Palmeiras recognised his talents, the inevitable call-up to the senior team was all but a formality.

Endrick has been playing with the first team but cannot get regular minutes. Palmeiras are ensuring a smooth integration for the 16-year-old, and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a regular. The attacker has qualities revered by big English sides as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

While Barcelona and Real Madrid fight for the 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid, clubs from England are taking notice of his talents. Recently Gilberto Silva hinted at Arsenal’s interest. And now, it may appear Manchester United are part of the queue.

A tweet from journalist Caio Carrieri suggests Manchester United had sent scouts to watch Endrick. They did not care if he played regularly but did not want to miss the chance to observe him whenever possible. Hence, the interest in the 16-year-old is evident, and a future approach is likely.

Manchester United are aware of Brazilian football rules, which prevent players from leaving before they turn 18. The Red Devils could wait in the wings and continue watching Endrick, expecting he will get plenty of future first-team opportunities.

Endrick could continue attracting further interest from clubs. While Arsenal and Manchester United are already in the mix, other English sides could join the queue. The biggest threat, however, comes from Spain, as Real Madrid seem like the most lethal competitor for the 16-year-old.

Manchester United will be in the mix when the time comes, although they will continue watching over his progress for now. Endrick has already shown his talent on the pitch, and whether he sustains it to develop into a superstar is what clubs may want to find out.
