Declan Rice is reportedly unwilling to sign a new contract with West Ham Untied amid interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

According to a report from Football Insider, West Ham United have offered a massive amount of money to Declan Rice. But the English international wants a new adventure at the end of the season. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United want to sign the 23-year-old.

West Ham have reportedly offered Rice a deal worth around £200,000 per week, and the contract will run for eight years.

Rice has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League ,and he has proven his quality on the international stage with England as well. The former Chelsea youth player was outstanding for the Three Lions at UEFA Euro 2020 last year.

Rice has been linked with moves to Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea in recent months. And it will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually. While West Ham have been able to secure European football for Rice, a player of his quality will want to play in the Champions League football regularly.

The Hammers are certainly not capable of providing him with that platform just yet. And it will be interesting to see if all parties can agree on an amicable departure at the end of the season. Rice is unlikely to have any shortage of suitors despite a massive price tag.

West Ham previously valued Rice at £100 million. But manager David Moyes has recently claimed that the asking price could go up to £150 million for the English international. It is simply unfathomable that any club will agree to pay for kind of money for someone who is yet to showcase his qualities in the Champions League.

So it is fair to assume that West Ham will have to scale down their demands. For now, Rice’s decision to show no interest in signing a new contract has handed a boost to Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

If the 23-year-old decides to force a move away in the summer, the Hammers will be under pressure, and they might have to give in to the player’s demands. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are sure to closely monitor his situation at the London Stadium.
