Chelsea are preparing a deal involving Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja for Anthony Gordon, taking the deal’s worth up to £85 million.

According to Football Insider, Everton are bracing themselves for a fresh approach from Chelsea for Anthony Gordon. The west London outfit are ready to include Armando Broja and Conor Gallager plus £25 million in cash for the English attacker, taking the value of the deal to a potential £85 million.

The Anthony Gordon saga could rumble on until deadline day as Chelsea get creative with their offerings. After seeing a series of bids get rejected by Everton for the 21-year-old, the Blues are willing to push the boat further to get the deal over the line.

Gordon has already suggested he wants to move to Chelsea, but the two clubs have yet to agree on the transfer fee. The Blues’ latest offer was worth around £60 million, which has not passed the test yet.

Recent reports suggested that Everton wanted two Chelsea players to sell Gordon, which could now become a reality. The west Londoners are not giving up on Gordon just yet and willing to include Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja plus cash to sign the 21-year-old

Everton have been looking for a new striker and a central midfielder in this window. While they have signed a fair few players, the hunt continues until deadline day. Chelsea’s offer of Gallagher and Broja plus £25 million in cash looks fantastic for the Toffees on paper, but there could be underlying complications.

Broja and Gallagher have started the season at Chelsea rather indifferently. The former has not been used regularly, while the latter has had a few challenging games. Moreover, Gallagher also has interest from Crystal Palace, which could prove problematic for Everton.

Even if Everton agree on the deal, which could be worth £85 million for Chelsea, they will also need the players’ approval on the subject. Financially, it could be the right deal for the Toffees, but finishing such a deal in the time remaining will be interesting to watch.

Whether Chelsea can please Everton with such a reported proposal remains to be seen. Gordon will hope for Everton to accept any big offer before the deadline, although the will of Broja and Gallagher will also have to be considered.
