Promising duo Alejandro Balde and Ez Abde could move across La Liga to join Valencia from Barcelona on separate loan deals this summer.

According to a report by Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Ez Abde is the subject of interest from La Liga club Valencia over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The young attacker’s Barcelona teammate Alejandro Balde is also a target for Los Che this month.

Ez Abde has been with Barcelona for a year since arriving from Hercules last summer. The 20-year-old prospect has since made gradual progress, excelling for Barcelona B while featuring 11 times for the first team. But regular opportunities with the senior side will come few and far between in the 2022/23 season, and a loan move might help Abde.

The same goes for Alejandro Balde, with the young left-back yet to establish a foothold in the first-team squad at Camp Nou, despite Jordi Alba’s advancing years. And with Barcelona on the verge of signing Marcos Alonso from Chelsea, 18-year-old needs a loan spell in the 2022/23 campaign to further his growth.

Both Abde and Balde might find a home in Valencia, with Los Che keen on prising the duo away from Barcelona on a loan deal in the ongoing transfer window. But the interest in Balde is a tad-bit surprising, considering Gennaro Gattuso has three left-backs at his disposal at the Mestalla.

But with Jose Gaya in the final year of his contract and Toni Lato only just returning from an injury layoff, signing Balde from Barcelona might not be a bad idea for Valencia. Meanwhile, Abde is certainly a viable target for Valencia, considering Gattuso barely has any wide-attacking options at his disposal.

Samuel Lino has joined Valencia from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, but Gattuso needs more quality on the flanks, bringing Abde into the picture. The Barcelona duo might join another young teammate at the Mestalla, with Nico Gonzalez reportedly closing in on joining Valencia on loan this summer.

Abde, in particular, could be a solid addition, considering he spent most of his formative years in the Valencian Community. It will be interesting to see if Los Che can secure the services of the Barcelona duo in the summer transfer window.
