Everton are reportedly considering a summer swoop for Chelsea attacking prospect Tino Anjorin, who is open to a move to Goodison Park.

According to 90 min, Everton have expressed the desire to sign Tino Anjorin this summer. Highly regarded as one of the most gifted players to come out of Chelsea’s youth academy, the youngster has been identified as the ideal player to shore up Frank Lampard’s options in the middle of the park.

As such, Everton are hoping to lodge a bid to sign the 20-year-old attacking prospect on a permanent deal. The Toffees are aware of the youngster’s qualities, given that he has performed superbly in the English youth divisions. Anjorin himself is keen on moving to Goodison Park as well, as he looks to make a breakthrough in the Premier League.

An attacking midfielder by trade, Anjorin has been a part of the Chelsea youth academy since 2008. He was only seven at the time, but the young attacker has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence, even establishing himself as one of the finest in the Chelsea academy in recent years.

Although a professional breakthrough at Chelsea has always eluded him, despite loan spells at Lokomotiv Moscow and Huddersfield Town, the 20-year-old is regarded highly due to his creative ability and productivity in the final third.

Anjorin’s performances have not gone unnoticed, with Everton among the clubs interested in securing his services. The Toffees’ coach Frank Lampard is well aware of the youngster’s qualities, having followed him closely during his time at Stamford Bridge.

With Fabian Delph and Gylfi Sigurdsson leaving Everton in the summer, and Donny van de Beek returning to Manchester United, Lampard is determined to add reinforcements to the creative unit. The Toffees have considered a move for Morgan Gibbs-White, but Wolverhampton Wanderers have no rejected a bid for their star playmaker.

It has compelled Everton to go after Anjorin, who has shown immense potential and could become an asset for the club in the years to come. Chelsea, for their part, are open to shipping the young attacking prospect away from Stamford Bridge, but they are only willing to sanction a loan deal and have no intention to offload him permanently.

Everton are pushing to complete a permanent deal, but it is too early to determine and only time will tell what the future stands for the 20-year-old Chelsea academy graduate this summer.
