La Liga heavyweights Barcelona are reportedly ready to fork out €10 million to sign 18-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Barcelona will soon table a bid worth €10 million to secure the services of Andrey Santos. The teenage Brazilian wonderkid is also the subject of interest from several other European bigwigs, including Manchester City and Juventus.
Andrey Santos has made quite an impact in age-group football in Brazil, with fans and pundits alike widely regarding him as one of the most promising young midfielders in his homeland. The 18-year-old is a defensive midfielder by trade and has been impressive with his ability to read the game effortlessly.
Santos has also represented Brazil at different age-group levels and currently plies his trade for the under-20 side. And the Brazilian wonderkid has broken into the first-team setup at Vasco da Gama this season, garnering 1017 minutes of game-time across 15 appearances.
