Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is headed to England for talks over Gleison Bremer, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham reportedly interested.

According to 90 min, London clubs Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea could battle it out for Gleison Bremer, as Torino’s sporting director Davide Vagnati is being dispatched to England for talks. The Serie A defender of the year is high in demand, with  the Italian club looking to cash in on their star man.

Gleison Bremer emerged as a target for multiple clubs across Serie A and the Premier League, as the Brazilian centre-back enjoyed a tremendous season with Torino. The Granata are keen to cash in on the Serie A defender of the year when his stock is high.

Torino president Urbano Cairo has reportedly dispatched sporting director Davide Vagnati to London for talks as interest mounts in the 25-year-old centre-back. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are keen on signing the centre-back, and they could battle it out for his signature.

Lisandro Martinez remains Arsenal’s defensive priority, after the club recently made a third proposal to Ajax for the centre-back. However, with Manchester United also sniffing around for the Argentine, the Gunners could look at Bremer as an alternative if they miss out on Martinez.

Chelsea are the club in dire need of signing notable centre-backs after the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer. Matthijs de Ligt remains their top priority, but Juventus’s asking price could scupper any possible deal for the Dutchman.

Bremer could then emerge as a reliable alternative for the Dutchman, and Chelsea would be willing to match Torino’s €50 million asking price for the 25-year-old Brazilian. The Blues face competition from London rivals Tottenham, who remain keen on signing the defender.

Tottenham have been chasing multiple players in the summer. Alessandro Bastoni was their preferred target, but Inter Milan are not interested in a sale. Since then, Spurs have shifted their attention to Bremer and Clement Lenglet, who could join them on loan from Barcelona.

However, Tottenham may need further depth to their central defensive areas if Davinson Sanchez departs in the coming weeks. Bremer suits their style and could occupy one of the three centre-back positions under Antonio Conte.

It’s clear that Bremer is an alternative target for all three London clubs; hence, Vagnati is flying down to the city to understand what could be done further. There’s an off chance the three London giants could ensue a bidding war for the Brazilian, which would hugely benefit Torino.

Bremer, named Serie A’s defender of the year, could be moving in this window, as both the player and his club are keen to see a transfer materialise. London as a destination could be tempting for the Brazilian, and it could be clear which club might lead the chase in the coming weeks.
