But Los Rojiblancos are not interested in bringing the Welshman to the Wanda Metropolitano.
Gareth Bale has endured a dramatic fall from grace at Real Madrid in the last few years. The Welsh international joined Los Blancos amid much fanfare and enjoyed countless memorable moments, particularly in the UEFA Champions League. But his stock has plummeted since Zinedine Zidane took charge of the Spanish club for a second time three years ago.
The 32-year-old has endured a forgettable 2021/22 campaign, garnering just 290 minutes of game-time across seven appearances this term, with Carlo Ancelotti refusing to utilise him. But Bale’s frustrating spell with Real Madrid will end in the summer transfer window, with his contract set to run out next month.

But one thing that remains certain is that he will not join Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer window if the claims by COPE are correct.
