In Jose Mourinho’s new biography, author Robert Beasley has claimed that the current Manchester United and former Chelsea manager wanted to physically assault Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The new book claims that then Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was so furious at Wenger’s comments about the Juan Mata transfer that he threatened that he would ‘find him outside a football pitch one day and break his face.’

The Frenchman was asked for a response to these alleged comments by Mourinho, but brushed them off saying that he’d like to focus only on football.

This is the latest bit of controversy surrounding the two iconic managers, with things even getting physical with them on the sidelines back in 2014. Mourinho has also previously dubbed Wenger a ‘Voyeur’ and a ‘specialist in failure’.

Fans on Twitter were bemused at Mourinho’s apparent hatred for Wenger, and blasted the Manchester United manager for his alleged comments.
