Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move away from Liverpool, who have been urged to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to replace him.

Former Liverpool player Stephen Warnock has now urged the club to sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to replace Mohamed Salah.

Warnock said on talkSPORT, “The one player that springs to mind is Kvaratskhelia from Napoli. He is the one player you look at and think, young, potential, can play, but he is a left-sided player.”

Salah will enter the final year of his contract at the end of this season, and Liverpool could consider selling him if he does not renew his contract with the club. The Reds will not want to lose him as a free agent in 2025. So, it makes sense for them to sell him next summer.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia are keen on signing the Egyptian international, and Liverpool will need to start planning for a future without him. Meanwhile, Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been outstanding for the Serie A club since joining them, and he was instrumental to their title win last season.

The Georgian international has the potential to develop into a world-class player, and he could be a quality replacement for Salah. However, Kvaratskhelia operates on the left side of the front three. So, Liverpool will have to alter their attacking dynamics in order to accommodate him in the starting lineup.

Colombian international Luis Diaz will probably have to operate on the right in the event of his arrival. But Napoli will not want to sell the 22-year-old attacker easily, and Liverpool will have to pay a premium in order to secure his services.

Kvaratskhelia is still only 22, and he is likely to improve further with coaching and experience. He could develop into a world-class performer for Liverpool if they managed to sign him. Working under a manager like Jurgen Klopp will help the Serie A winner develop further and fulfil his tremendous potential.

Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to join them can be an attractive option for any player. However, it remains to be seen whether the Reds are prepared to break the bank for him.

The Georgian is highly rated around Europe and Liverpool are unlikely to be the only club keen on signing him. Liverpool are likely to recoup a substantial amount of money by selling Salah, and it remains to be seen whether they can get the Napoli star signed up as his replacement.
