Saudi Pro League clubs retain their interest in the services of 31-year-old Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah.

According to Rudy Galetti, Mohamed Salah could head to the Middle East in 2024. Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on acquiring his services on a priority basis. They might have failed to land him at the club this summer but they will return for his signatures in the upcoming transfer windows.

Salah has been on the radar of Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad for a while now. They have been looking to sign him over the past few weeks. The Middle Eastern club submitted quite a few bids for his services on the European transfer deadline day.

After they failed to acquire him during the European window, everyone expected things to slow down. But, Al-Ittihad were in no mood to stop. They ended up submitting a massive bid for the services of the 31-year-old just before the end of their transfer window. Unfortunately, even that couldn’t convince Liverpool to let go of the Egyptian superstar.

Jurgen Klopp was desperate to have him in his ranks for the 2023-24 season. The German boss was in no mood to accept any bid for the former AS Roma winger. According to several reports, even the player was keen on staying at the Merseyside club despite being offered one of the biggest contracts in world football.

While Al-Ittihad might have failed to land the 31-year-old winger in the summer, they are still keen on signing him. The Saudi Pro League want to add another superstar to their league and they want to sign Salah as soon as possible.

Ittihad will surely return for his services in the winter and if needed they could wait until next summer. Meanwhile, they are not the only Saudi club that wants to sign the 31-year-old. Even Al-Hilal would love to have the Egyptian superstar in their ranks. They could enter the race for his services in the next transfer window.

With Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal ready to splash the cash to sign Salah, Liverpool will surely find it difficult to keep him at the club. They might have rejected the opportunity this time around but they could cash in on him in the upcoming window and reinvest it into their team.
