What I can say to you is I would really like to be here and I enjoy it a lot this season with this club even being a tough season.”
The experienced midfielder does not have a future at Bayern Munich, and he will not want to return. Joining Tottenham permanently would be ideal for him. The Bundesliga champions have been closely monitoring his situation, and the latest update will be music to their ears.
It would be ideal for all parties to finalise an agreement in the coming weeks. The only thing that remains is Tottenham triggering the €30 million purchase option. Spurs are fully aware that the player wants to join them, and Bayer are purshing to sell him.
