Guti urges Real Madrid to sign Erling Haaland

Real Madrid legend Guti Hernandez has urged the reigning La Liga champions to sign Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid legend Guti Hernandez has urged the club to sign Erling Haaland in the near future. The 24-year-old has a release clause in his contract worth around €150 million, which can be activated in 2025, and it will be interesting to see if the Spanish giants are willing to sign him.

“He started well with the European Super Cup but in the League, the draws make a lot of noise outside. With the arrival of Kylian, he has to adjust certain things but he will improve as the days go by,” said Guti before adding, “I would sign Haaland. I hope he is Real Madrid’s next target,” he added.

Haaland has established himself as the best goalscorer in the country, and he has broken multiple scoring records in the Premier League already. He is quite young, and the Norwegian international is only going to get better with coaching and experience. He could develop into a world-class player for Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants are widely regarded as the biggest club in the world, and they have a proven track record of fighting for trophies regularly. They will want to compete at the highest level, and pursuing Haaland would be a wise decision.

Haaland would be a superb addition

The Norwegian could complete their attacking unit for the foreseeable future. He could form a lethal partnership alongside Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior. Haaland will feel that he has proven himself in the Premier League with Manchester City, and he has won the UEFA Champions League with them as well. He could be open to taking on a new challenge at this stage of his career, and a move to Real Madrid will be quite exciting for him.

The Spanish giants certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done, and it remains to be seen of the situation develops. Manchester City will not want to lose you any time soon, but they could be powerless to stop him from leaving if Real Madrid decide to pay his release clause.
