Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the season continued on Sunday, but the Blues were rather subdued as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton at Stamford Bridge

The match was largely a feisty affair, with both sides creating plenty of chances over the course of the 90 minutes. There was no shortage of fouls on either end either, although no player managed to see red. The woodwork saw a fair share of action as well, and there was a growing sense that Chelsea would have to suffice with a draw as the match went on.

That is exactly what happened as luck deserted the hosts, who were increasingly frustrated over the course of the game. Chelsea fans though, had some choice words for referee Kevin Friend, who made some questionable decisions in the match.

Meanwhile, Alvaro Morata was also subjected to scrutiny by Chelsea fans owing to a poor display on the day.
